The first incident took place on August 31 on the road between Lwówek Śląski and Włodzice. The driver of a Renault Clio (a 20-year-old resident of Krzyżowa) lost control on a bend, crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a Volkswagen Golf traveling correctly in its lane. The Golf's passenger was taken to hospital with a broken arm.
The second incident occurred on September 1 on the road between Lwówek and Niwnice. Police stopped a Golf driver—a 50-year-old resident of Gościszów (Nowogrodziec municipality). The man was drunk, with more than 2.2 per mille of alcohol in his system.
That same day, on the road to Radłówka, a 19-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec driving a Golf failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions. He lost control on a bend, went off the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver and three 18-year-old passengers of the Volkswagen were taken to hospital. We were able to establish that the driver suffered the most serious injuries. He has head and nose injuries. In addition, his driving licence was confiscated.
Police appeal for caution.
