The incident took place on Sunday, August 24. Officers from Legnica received information about a man demolishing a parked passenger car with a hammer. When the officers arrived at the scene, it turned out that someone had smashed five windows and damaged the bodywork of an Audi. The vehicle’s owner estimated the losses at over PLN 2,000.
The vandal was arrested. He turned out to be a 46-year-old resident of Legnica who, at the time of his arrest, had over 3‰ of alcohol in his system. The man was taken to police custody. He now faces up to five years in prison.
