The arrest took place on Monday, August 18, on the Bolesławiec–Lwówek Śląski route. At around 7:00 a.m., police officers from Lwówek Śląski stopped a passenger minibus for inspection. It turned out that its driver—a 58-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County—was drunk, with 1.2 per mille of alcohol in his system.
What is more, the irresponsible driver was transporting two people in the minibus. Fortunately, tragedy was avoided.
The 58-year-old faces up to two years in prison and losing his driving licence.
