Bolesławiec police officers received a report that a young man was kicking and punching cars parked near one of the apartment buildings. Officers detained the vandal several streets away from the scene. At the time of his arrest, he had more than 2 per mille of alcohol in his system.
It turned out that the perpetrator had been walking with friends at night when, for no reason, he began damaging cars. He smashed a window and damaged a headlamp and a fender. The losses were estimated at more than PLN 800.
The man admitted to the crime. However, he was unable to explain why he began damaging property that did not belong to him. He now faces up to five years in prison.
