Every year, this event celebrating the people of the sea and sailors attracts more than 20,000 visitors to the port of Świnoujście: holidaymakers, tourists and sailing enthusiasts. Alongside the fair and numerous concerts, the most spectacular part of the celebration is the parade of sailing ships, as well as the opportunity to board them, explore them and learn about maritime traditions and customs.
The presentation of Jelenia Góra and the Karkonosze at the tall ships gathering is another sign of the cooperation established between Jelenia Góra and Świnoujście in the field of joint promotion. The “Hospitable Cities” project is an offer through which residents of Jelenia Góra can take advantage of discounts while spending their holiday in Świnoujście, while residents of Świnoujście can use discounts during their stay in our city.

Jelenia Góra in the Karkonosze – mountains just around the corner!
The aim of the joint promotion of the City of Jelenia Góra and the municipalities of Jelenia Góra County is to establish the city and the Karkonosze brand, along with their offer, as a tourist destination. In addition to numerous competitions for visitors to the stand, the promotion will include an exhibition of promotional materials and tourism offers.
