Police officers from Głogów detained six people suspected of drug-related offenses. The arrests took place on August 12 in one of the towns in Lubin County. All six are suspected of cultivating and possessing a significant amount of drugs.

In one of the buildings, officers found an installation enabling the cultivation of cannabis plants, including maintaining a constant temperature and air humidity as well as special lighting. Production was carried out on a large scale—the building contained several thousand marijuana seedlings.

Police officers from the Lubin police headquarters secured the plantation. Further activities in the case are currently underway. The investigation is supervised by the prosecutor's office. The six suspects face up to 10 years in prison.
