On Friday, 11 July, the opening of the exhibition “Grenzenlos – Without Borders – Sans frontières” was held at the Museum of Ceramics at 14 Kutuzowa Street. The exhibition presents the work of artists from Germany, France and Poland: Maria Dierker, Bolesławiec native Katarzyna Sas, Bernd Karsten and Clotilde Lafont-König.
The project’s coordinator and originator is Dr Clotilde Lafont-König: “The idea behind the presentation is to show how omnipresent nature and art are. Only together can we protect nature; only together can we change many things in politics; only together can we avoid the dominance of purely consumer-oriented things.”
The exhibition, organized to honor the Weimar Triangle and mark the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Élysée Treaty, was first presented in November last year in Siegburg, Bolesławiec’s partner city.
The exhibition can be visited until 8 August 2014. at the Museum of Ceramics building at 14 Kutuzowa Street.
