President Piotr Roman’s speech provided an opportunity both to recognize the work of the partners involved in the completed projects and to present the new publication “Parks and Gardens of the Polish-German Borderland,” which showcases Bolesławiec’s green spaces, reveals the beauty of its revitalized promenades, and presents the parks and gardens of the German borderland.

The publication—as well as the exhibition recently presented in Bolesławiec’s Market Square—is the result of the project “Urban Green Architecture of the Cross-Border Area Through the Lens,” which highlights the uniqueness of special places in Polish and German cities and towns. The publication contains photographs resulting from joint meetings of Polish and German communities, organized in Bolesławiec and in the border area of Germany.
