The new cameras were installed on a building on Teatralna Street; at the intersection of Sadowa, Narcyzów and Czerwonych Maków streets; on Kutuzowa Street and Prusa Street; and near the city stadium, at the junction of Spółdzielcza, Cicha and Kosiby streets.
The launch of the five new cameras cost just under PLN 155,000. The contribution of Gmina Wiejska to this investment amounted to PLN 10,000. Bolesławiec companies are also contributing to the financing of the camera installation. The surveillance system currently consists of 16 cameras located in various parts of the city. The cameras transmit footage to a monitoring centre located on the premises of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters.
