For children from the preparatory classes and grades 1–3, fairy tales were read by invited guests: Deputy Mayor Kornel Filipowicz, head of the Social Affairs Department Beata Sulska, municipal police officer Dorota Liebert. The event was hosted by the headmistress of MZS No. 3, Irena Sikora-Kołodyńska.
The readers recited Brzechwa’s poems about animals, including “The Fly,” “At the ZOO” and “The Frog.” After listening to the stories, the children had to complete numerous interesting tasks. They chose the appropriate characters, put together puzzles, presented rhymed chants and sang songs.
The young children learned more poems for children, while the older pupils who helped them had an opportunity to demonstrate care and helpfulness. The event was prepared by teachers Monika Grzyb, Małgorzata Oleś and Teresa Góra.
