From December 2 to January 29, pyrotechnic materials may not be used in public places. Violating the ban is punishable by a fine. However, the voivode’s regulation is not absolute. This means that fireworks displays may be held provided that the conditions of the Act on the Safety of Mass Events are met. There is also no ban on selling fireworks or using them reasonably in non-public places.
The Use of Fireworks Is Prohibited
The Lower Silesian Voivode has banned the use of pyrotechnic materials in public places. The ban does not cover the sale of fireworks or their use in specific situations.
