This year’s “Ceramic Wave” parade will take place on Friday, 22 August. The colorful procession will pass through the city streets to the main stage. During the opening of the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival, the competition for the most interesting costume will be decided. Many attractive prizes await the winners.
The competition is open to everyone interested, including individuals, groups, private companies and associations. All it takes is a little imagination and creativity. Participants should prepare a costume inspired by Bolesławiec ceramics: outfits reflecting the colors and shapes of Bolesławiec ceramics, makeup, headwear and other props. There are as many possibilities as there are patterns of ceramics produced by Bolesławiec factories.

Entries will be accepted until 1 August 2014. The entry form should be delivered to the Bolesławiec Cultural Center–International Ceramics Center, Plac Marszałka J.
