The Municipality of Bolesławiec and SV Horken Kittlitz invite you to the Euroregional Cultural and Sports Event “Longing for the Sea,” held at the MOSiR Water and Sports Centre on Spacerowa Street and on the “beach” at Rev. Jerzy Popiełuszko Square.

On May 31, the OWS hosted a beach volleyball tournament, in which, among others, BTS Bolesławiec volleyball players took part, as well as boules games. The International Beach Rugby Tournament was held at Popiełuszko Square.

The Euroregional Cultural and Sports Event is underway. This evening, as part of the “Shanties on the Bóbr” concert, Drake Sea Folk Group and Za Horyzontem will perform; tomorrow, there will be a festival for Children’s Day. The detailed programme is below:

  • May 31
    • 18:30 – “Shanties on the Bóbr,” featuring: Drake Sea Folk Group and Za Horyzontem (OWS, Spacerowa Street)
  • June 1 – festival for Children’s Day (OWS, Spacerowa Street)
    • 11:00 – announcement of the results of the “The Sea, Our Sea” art competition
    • 11:30 – sea knowledge quiz
    • 12:00 – sailing and tourist song competition
    • 12:30 – shooting multi-event
    • 13:30 – “sailing challenges”
    • 15:00 – Euroregional Football Tournament (“beach” by Popiełuszko Square)
      The programme also includes, among other things, performances, competitions, a games and activities zone for children, and many other attractions and surprises.
