Two police officers from KPP Bolesławiec, while off duty, recognized among passers-by a man suspected of stealing a camera worth PLN 3,500. The incident occurred on May 20 this year. The thief took advantage of the fact that there was no photographer in the studio. He entered and stole the equipment left there.
The incident was recorded by a surveillance camera. The police officers recognized the suspect thanks to the recording.
The detained 30-year-old admitted his guilt. He now faces a sentence of up to five years in prison. The recovered camera will be returned to its owner.
