The theft took place on May 16 at around 1:00 p.m. in the Bolesławiec commune. The 24-year-old man noticed that someone had left the keys in the ignition. He decided to take advantage of the opportunity and stole a car worth approximately PLN 2,000. However, he did not enjoy his loot for long, as he was detained several minutes later in Bolesławiec.
Officers recovered the stolen vehicle. The 24-year-old faces up to 5 years in prison.
