A boxing tournament featuring boxers from Lower Silesia as well as competitors from Germany and the Czech Republic took place on April 27 in Chojnów. The guests of honour were Wojciech Bartnik, Mariusz Cendrowski, Piotr Wilczewski, Mariusz Wach and Marian Kasprzyk.
Three representatives of TOP Bolesławiec competed in the event: Kamil Jezioro and brothers Damian and Dawid Lubienieccy. Dawid (75 kg category) defeated Przemysław Binienda of Polonia Leszno in his eighth bout. Damian, in his debut, defeated Damian Ogrodniczak from Lwówek Śląski. Kamil’s opponent was not allowed to fight by the doctor.
The TOP boxers are currently preparing for a tournament to be held on May 10 in Bolesławiec. Six Bolesławiec boxers will compete, and Kamil Jezioro will fight for the Lower Silesian champion’s title.
