New Horizons of Film Education. The new edition of the project for the 2014/15 school year means new films and a new format. During the meeting, we will present the programme and catalogue for next year's edition of the programme, and we will also screen “The Promise”, a psychological drama that offers a bold and moving portrait of the young generation—the social media and Facebook generation.

Screenings of NHEF as part of the 2014/2015 school-year edition will take place once a month from October to April. In May and June, two open film showcases will be organised. For project participants, this will provide an opportunity to continue the project, as in previous years. Teachers who cannot go to the cinema regularly will be able to take their students to the interesting films and meetings held as part of the showcases in May and June.

In Bolesławiec, we have begun enrolment for the seventh edition of the project. Registration for the 2014/2015 school-year project opened on 25 March 2014. It will continue until the end of September; however, to secure a place in the selected series, it is worth submitting the form as soon as possible. It is available on the New Horizons of Film Education website.

New Horizons of Film Education is an original programme created and implemented for several years by the New Horizons Association. It is a project that enables children and young people to encounter cinema—both classics and contemporary works—to deepen their knowledge of film art, develop their sensitivity and prepare them to engage with culture independently and consciously. Through New Horizons of Film Education, we want to familiarise young viewers with film art and inspire them to love it, while also supplementing their school education.
