The Path of Senses is a route 30 metres long and 1 metre wide. Its surface consists of materials of natural origin. These include spruce cones, pine cones, needles, bark and wood chips. They have been secured against scattering by a special gutter made of pine poles. The gutter has been divided into five sections. It contains all the materials listed above. Walking along the trail will require visitors to remove their footwear. This is so that they can feel the characteristics of the surface with their bare feet.

The trail was created as part of a project called Educational Trails in the Eastern Part of the Lower Silesian Forests. The project is included in the School for Sustainable Development programme in Lower Silesia. The programme is carried out jointly by Groundwork UK, Fundacja Partnerstwo dla Środowiska and its Czech counterpart, Nadace Partnerstvi.
