The incident occurred on Monday, April 14, on Śluzowa Street. At approximately 9:40 a.m., the driver of a Ford Transit, a 42-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, rear-ended an Opel Zafira driven by a 63-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. The struck Opel then crashed into the side of a Daewoo Espero. The Daewoo was driven by a 57-year-old man from Bolesławiec. As a result of the collision, the Opel's passenger, a 38-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, was taken to hospital. All the drivers were sober. The police are establishing the details of the incident.
