The handover of the fire engine took place on Wednesday, 9 March, in Czerna. The Renault Midliner G270 replaced the 22-year-old Star 200 that had served the local OSP until now. The Mayor of the Town and Municipality of Nowogrodziec formally handed the keys to the unit commander. The vehicle was purchased with municipal funds.
The ceremony marking the handover of the vehicle was attended by firefighters from OSP Nowogrodziec, Gościszów, Gierałtów and Wykroty, as well as representatives of OSP Bolków and a partner unit from Germany, OSP Crosta, which cooperates with the local OSP.
