The world of film and television has attracted and fascinated people for decades. Telling stories through images is undoubtedly the most appealing form of art and expression of human emotions. It is thanks to the combination of image and sound that we experience such powerful emotions while watching a film.
As early as September, young people will have the chance to enter the world of film and modern media, thanks to the Bolesławiec Film School—the first lower-secondary school of its kind in Poland! Our base is the II Private Lower-Secondary School in Bolesławiec, where future lower-secondary students will be able to learn the secrets of film and television production from the ground up, work behind the camera, test themselves in the demanding profession of director, take care of sound, and learn the essence of editing, which, as filmmakers say, can work wonders. Sounds great? Of course.
Professional equipment, which is difficult for people outside the industry to access, will be part of everyday life for the students of Our School. They will be supervised by film instructors who have experienced all its aspects firsthand. Directing and screenwriting, cinematography, editing and sound are just some of the subjects and activities in which our students will participate. In addition, during their education, the young filmmakers will produce their own professional short film, which they will proudly present to their family and friends at an official premiere in a cinema.
