The Bolesławiec Tax Office has launched the “Help Grandma/Grandpa File Their PIT Online” campaign. On 24 March, an office employee conducted training at Gimnazjum Samorządowe No. 2 im. Polaków Zesłanych na Sybir. The aim of the campaign is to explain in a simple and accessible way how to fulfil the constitutional obligation to file last year’s PIT online.

– Young people are very comfortable in the online communication environment, so their potential should be used to help older people, for example by filing their PIT online – say the campaign organisers.

They add: – This brings mutual benefits. Young people learn about the obligation to file an annual tax return and the rules that apply in this area, while grandparents can count on support in submitting their PIT electronically. This will allow them to receive their tax refund sooner, as well as providing assurance that the calculations and personal data in the submitted tax return are correct. Learning how to file a PIT online will bear fruit in the future, as young people will have no problems filing their tax returns this way when they become adults.
