The Comprehensive and Vocational School Complex in Bolesławiec joined a European Union project under Priority III, “High Quality of Education,” Measure 3.4, “Openness of the Education System in the Context of Lifelong Learning,” Sub-measure 3.4.2, “Dissemination of Lifelong Learning.”
The project aims to:
- disseminate and promote distance learning in vocational and continuing education;
- ensure high-quality distance learning services by developing standards for designing and conducting e-learning courses;
- encourage institutions to implement distance learning;
- improve the competencies of educational institution staff in implementing and using distance learning.
The project is addressed to teachers at vocational schools and continuing education institutions, representatives of local government units, and education authorities.
Joining the project gives the school and the Continuing Education Centre the opportunity to create an internet portal with an integrated Moodle educational platform and a repository of e-learning courses.
The use of such advanced information and communication technology in educating adults and young people is an important element of ZSOiZ and CKU’s educational advantage over other institutions. It is also a way to support traditional education through the use of distance-learning methods and techniques. Thanks to these technical capabilities and the commitment of its teachers, the Comprehensive and Vocational School Complex provides modern education in accordance with the standards of today’s labour market and the requirements of the modern world.
