On the evening of November 9, police in Bolesławiec detained a 34-year-old man driving a Peugeot 405. The man had 2.3 per mille of alcohol in his system. Over the course of Wednesday, as many as eight intoxicated drivers were detained in the Bolesławiec area.

On November 10, a 47-year-old agricultural tractor driver was detained in the Bolesławiec area. The man was driving the tractor with as much as 3.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. That same day, an intoxicated city bus driver was detained in Bolesławiec. The following day, police officers detained a 57-year-old man. The detained Volkswagen Jetta driver drove through the streets of Bolesławiec, hitting parked cars. First, on Łasicka Street, he damaged a Toyota Carina, and then on Okrzei Street he damaged two more cars. This time, the 57-year-old damaged a Fiat and an Opel Kadett. As it later turned out, the Volkswagen driver had 2.4 per mille of alcohol in his system.
