The tragedy occurred on Sunday, March 9, on Narutowicza Street in Bolesławiec. The body of an 88-year-old man was found by his son, who had come to visit his parents. The deceased man's 91-year-old wife was taken to hospital.
The apartment was heated with a tiled stove. The couple was probably poisoned by carbon monoxide. Investigators are establishing the causes of the tragedy.
