In February, we reported that Koleje Dolnośląskie had launched another round of public consultations on the timetable that will be in effect from 14 December this year. Everyone interested could submit proposals for changes to the timetables or adjustments to train routes until 23 February.

Over the course of a week, 300 submissions were sent to the Transport Department of the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The largest number (35) concerned changes to the timetable of direct trains running on the Wrocław – Świdnica – Wrocław route. Connections to Legnica and Bolesławiec also attracted considerable interest. It turned out that passengers are also interested in tourist connections from Jelenia Góra to Karpacz.

Among those who submitted responses, the largest number travel by rail every day (135) or once a week (62). The overwhelming majority choose rail as their means of transport to get to work or use it at weekends when visiting family or friends.
