The players from Gimnazjum Samorządowe nr 2 in Bolesławiec won the Group B semifinal of the Jelenia Góra Zone Championships for Lower Secondary Schools in Volleyball and advanced to the final, which will take place on 11 March in Kamienna Góra. The team from Gimnazjum nr 2 in Lubań took second place, while the team from Pieńsk came third.
The competition was organized by Powiatowe Centrum Edukacji i Kształcenia Kadr in Bolesławiec. The diplomas were presented by Dorota Medyńska, an outstanding volleyball player, a member of the Polish national team and a player for Impel Wrocław.
