During the long weekend, traffic on the roads in Bolesławiec and the surrounding area was relatively calm. On the Monday before All Saints’ Day, police recorded the theft of a wallet containing money from a car parked on Gdańska Street. The owner of a Ford Curier lost approximately PLN 2,500.
That same day, a collision occurred on II Armii Wojska Polskiego Street. The driver of a BMW cut off the driver of a Jeep. The Jeep driver hit the BMW, which in turn spun 180 degrees and struck a Ford Sierra. As it turned out at the hospital, the BMW driver was drunk. He had 3.4 parts per mille of alcohol in his system. For an hour, there were no police officers at the accident scene. Firefighters guarded the wrecked cars and directed traffic.
On November 1, someone attempted to steal another Jeep on Gdańska Street. The owner did not lose the vehicle, but the would-be thief managed to damage it. Repairs will cost PLN 2,000.
