On Friday (31 January), the Nowogrodziec Municipality Table Tennis Championships were held. The competition was conducted in the primary-school and lower-secondary-school categories. The primary schools played in a round-robin system. The following schools competed for the Municipality Championship: SP Gierałtów, SP Czerna, SP Nowa Wieś and SP Nowogrodziec. The final standings were as follows:
Girls:
- place SP Czerna (Aleksandra Hrycaj, Martyna Grabarz, Aleksandra Stupiec, Wiktoria Bancer)
- place SP Nowa Wieś (Luiza Ostrowska, Julia Kuśmierz)
- place SP Gierałtów (Paulina Kiełczyńska, Weronika Zielińska, Justyna Komar)
Boys:
- place SP Gierałtów (Oskar Zazulak, Alan Apanasowicz, Piotr Szuszkiewicz)
- place SP Czerna (Kacper Drąg, Szymon Miler, Dawid Kubica)
- place SP Nowa Wieś (Kacper Ziółkowski, Jacek Kot)
- place SP Nowogrodziec (Paweł Wyspiański, Igor Ostrowski, Maksymilian Trębacz, Karol Siedlecki)
Lower-secondary schools
The girls’ team from the Nowogrodziec lower-secondary school defeated the players from Nowa Wieś after a very even match. The result was decided only in the doubles, and the entire match was won 2:1. The Nowa Wieś team consisted of: Aleksandra Czachara, Agata Kuśmierz and Sandra Turkiewicz. Nowogrodziec was represented by: Dominika Grabasz, Patrycja Czyż and Aleksandra Urbaniak.
In the boys’ category, the school from Wykroty (Piotr Kojder, Paweł Stopyra) won without difficulty, defeating GM Nowogrodziec (Arkadiusz Kozioł, Bartosz Regieda, Patryk Oleksy) and GM Nowa Wieś (Konrad Skóra, Eryk Majtyka) by a score of 2:0. In the match for second place, the players from Nowogrodziec proved to be better.
The competition was organised and conducted by GSZS Nowogrodziec.
