Guests arriving for the opening of Orzeł were welcomed by participants in the theatre studio, dressed as Marilyn Monroe and Chaplin, and by BOK-MCC director Ewa Lijewska-Małachowska. The Agata Pińczuk-Burdzy ensemble “Błękitne Stempelki” performed a mini-concert.
After an advertising film telling the story of the renovated building, which has operated in Bolesławiec since the beginning of the 20th century, the president welcomed the guests.
– This is another building in the city renovated thanks to EU funds – Piotr Roman said. – The International Ceramics Centre, Forum cinema, Orka water park and Old Theatre can be mentioned here. We are revitalising these buildings so that everyone can spread their wings in them. We have young people who can make use of the potential of the centre we have renovated – the president added.
Deputy Voivode of Lower Silesia Ewa Mańkowska, commune head Andrzej Dutkowski, deputy district head Stanisław Chwojnicki and Nowogrodziec Mayor Robert Relich congratulated the president and the residents of Bolesławiec on the building and its capabilities.
