Less than a week ago, the illumination of the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help at Castle Square in Bolesławiec was switched on. The church is illuminated by 35 spotlights. Twelve spotlights were recessed into the ground, four were installed on purpose-designed lighting poles, one was installed on an existing street-lighting pole, and eighteen were mounted on the walls of the church and rectory.
The total cost of carrying out the project amounted to more than PLN 83,000. As part of the project entitled "Illumination of the City's Historic Monuments," the illumination of further sites is planned for next year: the stone railway viaduct over the Bóbr River, the District Court building and the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary on Ceramiczna Street.
