Police officers from the Nowogrodziec Police Station arrested a 28-year-old man suspected of burglary that took place in November 2013. The perpetrator entered the commercial premises from the rear. His haul included cigarettes, starter cards, money and two mobile phones belonging to the shop owners. The total losses were estimated at more than PLN 3,000.
As a result of searching the residential premises occupied by the 28-year-old, police officers recovered two mobile phones belonging to the victims and several packs of cigarettes. The arrested resident of Nowogrodziec municipality admitted to the alleged offence. Burglary is punishable by up to 10 years’ imprisonment.
