A resident of Raciborowice Dolne informed the police on Friday that someone had left a chained dog in abandoned buildings. A municipal official and a veterinarian arrived at the scene. They encountered a horrific sight.
The dog was chained to a metal rod. The animal’s neck, injured while it tried to free itself from the tight collar, was stripped of skin, and its muscles had been severed. The doctor determined that the dog might have been chained up like this for several days. The animal was euthanized to shorten its suffering.
