In Bolesławiec, work on modernising the lighting in the area of Rajska Street and Sportowa Street has been completed. The renovation of the road surface and pavements has also been completed – the new pavements are made of paving blocks, and yellow paving blocks have been installed at pedestrian crossings.
The lighting modernisation included dismantling the existing overhead-line street lighting, installing new lighting cabinets, constructing a power line for the street lighting, and installing poles together with complete lighting units – 40 in total. The contractor for the project was Sudeckie Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowych from Jelenia Góra. The investment cost nearly PLN 610,000. The funds came from the city budget.
Moreover, the construction of park-style lighting has been completed behind the buildings on Zygmunta Augusta Street. The work was carried out as part of the continuation of the project “Reconstruction of the area behind the buildings at 12c–14c Zygmunta Augusta Street”. The value of the completed construction work was PLN 40,000. The contractor was the Bolesławiec-based company Elektros.
