Christmas is a time of reconciliation and closeness between people—and this was also the case during another Evening of Traditions, held on Sunday, December 8, in Łaziska near Bolesławiec. The event began with art, music and culinary workshops. Participants made Christmas tree decorations, shaped cookies and prepared pierogi. There was also joint carol singing.
The evening was enhanced by a nativity play performed by children from Club 4H. The event was organized by councillor Grażyna Łucka, village head Joanna Łucka, the Village Council, the Nasze Łaziska Association, the Rural Housewives’ Circle, the Parish Council, and the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn.
