Marshal Paweł Wróblewski transferred 146 apartments belonging to the Lower Silesian Voivodeship government to the Bolesławiec Municipal Commune on Tuesday. The value of the transferred real estate—residential buildings, approximately 3 hectares of developed land and approximately 6 hectares of undeveloped land—is PLN 2 million 155 thousand. The voivodeship government also transferred PLN 500 thousand to Bolesławiec for building renovations.
Until recently, the transferred apartments were managed by the Regional Hospital for the Nervously and Mentally Ill in Bolesławiec. The hospital’s task, however, is to provide medical services, not manage property. After the commune takes over the real estate, the tenants will remain in the apartments and will also be able to purchase the units on favorable terms.
The real estate transferred to the Bolesławiec Municipal Commune includes 78 apartments in the so-called samotniak at 12 Żwirki i Wigury Street.
