The highest absolute number of foreigners was recorded in the city of Bolesławiec – 3 816. A high share of foreigners is also visible in Warta Bolesławiecka, where they accounted for more than one-fifth of all people included in the study.
The data show that foreigners are an important part of the local community, particularly in municipalities where large workplaces operate and where the employment of people from outside Poland has been growing for years.
In total, 95 076 people were present in the municipalities of Bolesławiec County included in the dataset. The number of foreigners was 9 771.
