The Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec invites visitors to the opening of the “Silence of Dialogue” exhibition, which will take place on 6 December (Friday) at 5:00 p.m. at the City History Department at 14 M. Kutuzowa Street.

The exhibition will feature sculptures created at the Ceramics Sculpture Studio of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. The studio’s staff consists of Prof. Czesław Dźwigaj (head) and M.A. Marita Benke-Gajda (lecturer), the originator and organizer of the exhibition presenting works by students and graduates.

The exhibition comprises several dozen ceramic works created by 27 young Krakow artists: Michalina Bigaj, Zbigniew Blajerski, Magdalena Borkowska, Magdalena Cisło, Bogdan Czesak, Katarzyna Czpak, Radosława Daleki, Mariusz Dydo, Michał Dziekan, Magdalena Gajda, Weronika Gajda, Piotr Golonka, Ewelina Hojdys, Danuta Kałuża, Anna Krowińska, Marta Kufel, Mateusz Kukla, Agata Magdziak, Jakub Niewdan, Natalia Nowacka, Adriana Paśkiewicz, Kaja Sawicka, Katarzyna Skuczyńska, Małgorzata Stańczyk, Aneta Śliwa, Ewa Wróbel and Barbara Zgoda.

Bringing together so many personalities makes it possible to observe the richness of creative individuality and aesthetic attitudes. It also offers an opportunity to see how diverse forms of artistic expression can be, despite using the same material—so difficult from a technological perspective—shaped by the artist’s hands and fire.
