The Mayor of Bolesławiec invites you to attend the “Invest in Bolesławiec. Investment Areas, Tax Exemptions, and Investment Rules in Special Economic Zones” conference, which will be held on November 15, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the conference room of BOK-MCC (1c Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square, Bolesławiec).

The conference is organized by the Ministry of Economy – Deputy Minister Ilona Antoniszyn-Klik; the Mayor of Bolesławiec – Piotr Roman; Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone “Invest-Park” Sp. z o.o. – Management Board President Barbara Kaśnikowska; and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency S.A. – Management Board President Sławomir Majman.

The conference is intended for small and medium-sized businesses planning investments in areas covered by special economic zone status. Using the example of the Bolesławiec Subzone of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone “Invest-Park” Sp. z o.o., the benefits of investing in a special economic zone will be presented, with particular emphasis on the reliefs and exemptions related to conducting business activity in the zone.

The investment offer of Bolesławiec and the possibilities of obtaining public aid—including grants and tax exemptions—from national and European Union funds will also be presented during the conference. The conference will discuss the consequences of changes to the rules for granting public aid (tax exemptions and grants) after July 1, 2014.
