On 16 November 2013, the new heating tariff for the Zakład Energetyki Cieplnej in Bolesławiec, approved by a decision of the President of the Energy Regulatory Office, comes into force.
“Two factors contributed to the reduction in heating prices,” says company president Wiesław Ogrodnik. “The first and main factor is the decline in coal fines prices on the market. The second factor, which cannot be underestimated, is the optimal management of the company’s remaining costs.”
Division of heat consumers into tariff groups
- Group B.1 – consumers supplied with heat from the Central Heating Plant at ul. Gałczyńskiego via the seller’s heating network
- Group B.2 – consumers supplied with heat from the Central Heating Plant at ul. Gałczyńskiego via the seller’s heating network and heat substations
- Group P – consumers receiving heat in the form of steam generated at a natural-gas-fired heat source located at ul. Wojska Polskiego 54
Method of calculating charges
The monthly installment of the charge for ordered thermal capacity, collected each month, is the product of the ordered thermal capacity and 1/12 of the price for ordered thermal capacity or the monthly charge rate for ordered thermal capacity for the relevant tariff group.
The charge for heat, collected for each month in which heat was consumed, is the product of the amount of heat delivered, determined on the basis of readings from the metering and billing system installed at the connection to the heat substation or at other points defining the operational boundary of the equipment and installations specified in the contracts, and the price of heat or the charge rate for heat for the relevant tariff group.
The charge for the heat carrier, collected for each month in which the heat carrier was consumed, is the product of the amount of heat carrier delivered to fill and replenish water losses in consumers’ installations, determined on the basis of readings from the metering and billing system installed in the heat substation or at the location specified in the contract, and the price of the heat carrier for the relevant tariff group.
The monthly installment of the fixed charge for transmission services, collected each month, is the product of the ordered thermal capacity and 1/12 of the fixed charge rate for transmission services for the relevant tariff group.
The variable charge for transmission services, collected for each month in which heat was consumed, is the product of the amount of heat delivered, determined on the basis of readings from the metering and billing system installed at the connection to the heat substation or at other points defining the operational boundary of the equipment and installations specified in the contracts, and the variable charge rate for transmission services for the relevant tariff group.
The connection charge, collected after the connection has been completed, is calculated for connections longer than 10 m as the product of the connection length and the connection charge rate established in the tariff for the relevant type of connection; for connections up to 10 m, it is based on the flat-rate charge established in the tariff.
The prices and charge rates established in this Tariff do not include goods and services tax (VAT). VAT is charged in accordance with applicable regulations.
