Under the direction of Jarosław Thiel, the orchestra gave a concert to mark the 95th anniversary of the restoration of independence. Residents of Bolesławiec heard Symphony No. 4 in B-flat major, Op. 60, from 1806, and Symphony No. 6 in F major, Op. 68, “Pastoral,” from 1807–08
The Wrocław Baroque Orchestra is the only philharmonic ensemble in Poland that performs on historical instruments. The ensemble has taken part in subsequent editions of the International Wratislavia Cantans Festival, radio broadcasts and recordings, and has collaborated with leading Polish choirs and renowned figures of the international early-music scene.
