At the next session of the Bolesławiec City Council, which will take place on 30 October, councillors will adopt—or not—a resolution “on establishing the title ‘Honoured for the City of Bolesławiec’ and determining the design, principles and procedure for awarding and wearing the Honoured for the City of Bolesławiec Badge”. If the legal act comes into force, the title may be awarded both to residents of our city and to people who do not live in Bolesławiec.
What is more, the title may be awarded to natural persons, legal persons and organisational units without legal personality. However, it may not be awarded to members of the bodies of the Bolesławiec Municipal Commune while they are exercising their mandates.
Applications for the title may be submitted by:
- the chairperson of the Bolesławiec City Council
- the mayor
- the City Council’s standing committees
- a group of at least 5 councillors
- a group of at least 50 natural persons
- legal persons and organisational units without legal personality, with their registered office in the city.
