The mock election was held as part of the nationwide Young People Vote campaign. Five schools from Bolesławiec took part: Municipal Middle School No. 2, the First Private Middle School, the Second General Secondary School, the First General Secondary School and the District Special Middle School.
The campaign proceeded smoothly, with turnout at approximately 58 percent. Donald Tusk won, receiving 50% of the vote. Lech Kaczyński was far behind him, receiving 19% of the votes. Andrzej Lepper came third with 12% support.
