The incident occurred on Friday (18 October) at approximately 3:00 p.m. in Lubków (Warta Bolesławiecka municipality). The 42-year-old Mercedes driver, a resident of Legnica, collided with a Volkswagen Golf. As a result of the collision, the Mercedes passenger and the Volkswagen passenger and driver were taken to hospital. The Mercedes driver was drunk. He had a blood alcohol level of 2 per mille.
