At the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help at Zamkowy Square, a ceremony forming part of a nationwide event aimed at bringing the teachings of John Paul II closer to Poles will be held. It begins at 5:00 p.m.
Young artists from the BOK-MCC Song Studio, under the direction of Agata Pińczuk-Burdzy, will perform Polish religious songs as well as gospel music, including: “Twoja miłość”, “Moje wędrowanie”, “Błogosław duszo moja Pana”, “Alleluja” and “Oh happy Day”. Recitations of poems authored by John Paul II will be presented between the songs.
The event is hosted by the Mayor of Bolesławiec and the Dean of the Parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
