The cabaret’s performance inaugurated the series of cultural Thursdays in the Forum hall of BOK-MCC after the summer break. The cabaret performed on stage in a four-person lineup: Beata Rybarska, Łukasz Rybarski, Andrzej Kozłowski. Maurycy Polaski arrived in Bolesławiec with a broken leg, but showed in the role of the Pope that he was in excellent form.

The cabaret’s program featured the latest sketches, monologues and songs. The popular Kresowiak Family was also included. We learned how one can “do the shopping in a shop for a pension”, as well as how malicious and direct mobile-network telemarketers can be. Also performed were the songs “Ona nie tańczy dla mnie”, which have broken popularity records on YouTube; a parody of Michel Telo’s well-known hit “Ai Se Eu Te Pego” with the chorus “nosa, nosa…”, which in the cabaret’s translation simply meant “highway”; and a parody of Iwan’s song, as always without Delfin.

“We want to accomplish something that no one has yet managed to do,” Łukasz Rybarski said between sketches. “We want to please everyone. Unlike our cabaret colleagues, we do not tailor the program to the audience’s age, but to the viewer’s soul. For older audiences, we choose a topic about sex, because young people use it and older people enjoy it.”

The laughing Bolesławiec audience repeatedly applauded the Kraków group’s amusing sketches. The huge dose of humor delivered by the cabaret that evening made even the greatest grump laugh to tears.
