The collision took place on Thursday, September 12, near Suszki (Bolesławiec municipality), on the route between Bolesławiec and Lwówek Śląski (provincial road no. 297). The BMW driver collided with a PKS bus travelling on the Szczecin–Jelenia Góra route. Fortunately, no one was injured. The BMW driver explained that the collision occurred when he was avoiding a car stopped on the roadside.

According to police findings, the BMW driver failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions and skidded. The car spun around, crossed into the opposite lane and struck the bus. The BMW driver was sober. He was fined PLN 1,000.
