The Fourth Chess Tournament was held at Klub Pegaz. Twenty-five competitors took part, including six women from Nowogrodziec, Lwówek and Bolesławiec. The competitors played a seven-round Swiss-system tournament. The winners in their respective categories were: Tadeusz Kaźmierski, Andrzej Kędzia, Paulina Opała, Adam Wasilewski, Marcin Mariowski, Szymon Kopeć, Elwira Kupisz, Radosław Gajewski and Paulina Kopeć.

The Fifth Swimming Competition was held at the indoor swimming pools. Thirty-seven competitors from Lubań, Zgorzelec and Bolesławiec took part. The swimmers had to cover a distance of 200 metres. They competed in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle events. The winners in their respective categories were: Klaudia Bednarz, Kordian Różnicki, Monika Wójcik, Żaklina Musiał, Sylwia Cieślak, Jakub Wajcfelt, Kacper Jaworski, Oliwer Rybski, Michał Daszyński, Mariusz Mieniek, Andrzej Daszyński, Kamila Kalinowska, Żaklina Bukowiec, Mikołaj Zatoński, Paweł Wojtowicz, Patryk Kardela, Piotr Galik and Marcin Małowiecki.

Special awards were also presented to the best, youngest and oldest participants in the competition. The awards for the best female competitors went to Sylwia Cieślak from Lubań and Katarzyna Duran from Bolesławiec. The award for the youngest participant went to Monika Wójcik from Lubań. The award for the oldest competitor went to Andrzej Daszyński from Zgorzelec.

The chess tournament and swimming competition were organized by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre. The Bolesławiec Cultural Centre Chess Club co-organized the chess tournament.
