Historical heritage of the Napoleonic era in the Silesian-Lusatian borderland. Here is the program of events taking place in our town on September 6 and 7:

  • September 7 (Saturday)
    • 12:00–13:30, Market Square – historical scenes from the Napoleonic period
    • 10:00–15:30, area by the Bóbr River near the viaduct – visiting a soldiers’ camp from the Napoleonic period
    • 16:00, area by the Bóbr River near the viaduct – premiere of the publication “Napoleonic Tales of Bolesławiec”
    • 16:00–16:40, area by the Bóbr River near the viaduct – historical performance “The Battle of Bolesławiec in 1813”
    • 17:00–19:00, area by the Bóbr River near the viaduct – visiting the camp from the Napoleonic period.

  • September 6, 9:00–15:00, BOK-MCC conference room – international academic conference “200 Years of the Napoleonic Epic”
  • September 6, 17:00, Museum of Ceramics, Department of City History, 14 Kutuzowa Street – opening of the historical exhibition “1813–2013. The Bicentenary of the Napoleonic Campaign in Silesia.”
