On Monday, 5 August, another cycle of water-based classes for infants and young children will begin at the Osiecznica Swimming Pool. We invite you to take part in the first trial session.

From September, we also invite the youngest children to classes at the swimming pool in Chojnów. The classes are organised by Wodne Przedszkole KUBUŚ, which also organises classes at swimming pools in Jelenia Góra, Karpacz, Jawor and Wałbrzych. The sessions are led by an instructor who will teach parents how to spend time with their child at the swimming pool in a pleasant, safe and healthy way.

During the classes, each child in the water is accompanied by a parent. The sessions include exercises that familiarise children with the aquatic environment, gymnastics and the development of habits that improve the child's safety in the water. They also build a foundation that, at a later age, will serve as the basis for learning swimming techniques.

If the parent is relaxed and confident about this form of activity, there is a good chance that the child will feel comfortable during the water classes from the very beginning. During the sessions, the little ones learn, among other things: the correct positioning of the body on the front and back, breathing into the water, basic arm and leg movements, and jumping into the water. There is also singing songs and playing familiar games.

In addition, such classes support the rehabilitation of children with motor impairments and integrate children with disabilities with non-disabled children, both physically and mentally. The class time should be used to play with the child. Joint exercises help build a strong emotional bond. Each participant will receive an underwater photograph as a keepsake.
